Toho International asked PopShorts to help promote the theatrical release of Godzilla Minus One to the U.S. domestic market. The film is the first new Toho Godzilla film since 2016's Shin Godzilla and commemorates the 70th anniversary of the original Godzilla film, which was released in Japan on November 3, 1954.

Written and directed by award-winning director and visual effects supervisor, Takashi Yamazaki, the movie sees an already devastated postwar Japan facing a new threat in the form of Godzilla.
