    PopShorts is seeking a sharp writer and skilled communicator to manage social media channels for our clients. This is an hourly role and has tremendous growth potential for someone who is thoughtful about copy and uses it in a creative way that shows results. The applicant will work with the head of content and coordinator to manage the Social Media content calendar. Also, being responsible in overseeing the developing strategies to increase engagement, followers, and foster a sense of community across all social media channels PopShorts has. You will be responsible for our company’s social media image in order to reach our marketing objectives.

    – Responsible for setting and implementing engaging social media strategies around on-going campaigns and goals
    – Create engaging posts and/or content for the PopShorts social media accounts and channels
    – Oversee social media accounts and develop a content calendar for our clients
    – Researching audience preferences and exploring current trends in the social media/influencer industry
    – Stay up-to-date with changes in all social platforms ensuring maximum effectiveness at all times
    – Facilitate and foster online conversations with the community and respond to inquiries on all social platforms
    – Design posts to sustain readers’ curiosity and create a buzz around campaigns


    – Must have 1-2 years of experience in Social Media management
    – Expertise in multiple social media platforms (Instagram, Facebook, Snapchat, Twitter, Tiktok)
    – Multitasking and analytical thinking
    – Ability to build relationships (internally and externally with clients)
    – Able to develop social media creative, editing copy and engage with page visitors
    – Familiarity with online marketing strategies and marketing channels
    – Anticipating and effectively communicate issues
    – Identifying emerging platforms and trends to drive innovation
    – Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Google Sheets, and Microsoft Powerpoint
    – Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite and Final Cut Pro is a plus
