We’ve worked with social media creators both large and small to make meaningful content for the likes of Sony, Chase, Fox, ABC, NBC, Paramount, Burger King, Nature Made, The CW, Hulu, Google, Adobe, and Disney.

    PopShorts is looking for a talented Social Media Coordinator. This position will collaborate with members of the development, production, and marketing teams to provide a steady and accurate workflow of engaging brand experiences across all of PopShorts social media platforms. The applicant will create, package, and share appealing content across social media while quantifying your strategy with data. A normal day will include tracking posts and requests across social channels and positively responding in real-time. Create original responses and engage with the audience in the brand’s strategic voice, then prepare and present your findings with internal teams for reporting.

    Day-to-day responsibilities:
    – Develop and implement social media strategies across all of PopShorts platforms to extend our brand’s reach
    – Work with copywriters and creative team to ensure that content is visually appealing
    – Overseeing social media accounts for clients to measure success and engagement
    – Being aware of social media trends in order to construct exceptional campaigns for our clients and ourselves
    – Responsible for social conversations and interactions with the advertising community through PopShorts’ social media platforms
    – Use social media analytics tools to create reports and see overall performances for business decisions
    – Have knowledge of social media tools like Buffer to develop content, create calendars, and schedule out posts

    Requirements

    – 1-2 years of agency-side experience developing social media creative and engaging with page visitors
    – Exceptional spelling and grammar
    – The ambition and enthusiasm to learn new skills
    – A demonstrated passion for and understanding of social media
    – Foreseeing affairs and communicating with competence
    – Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Google Sheets, and Microsoft Powerpoint
    – Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite and Final Cut Pro is a plus
