We’ve worked with social media creators both large and small to make meaningful content for the likes of Sony, Chase, Fox, ABC, NBC, Paramount, Burger King, Nature Made, The CW, Hulu, Google, Adobe, and Disney.

    PopShorts is looking for a copywriter to create content copy across all social platforms. The ideal candidate PopShorts is looking for will have to draft copy for various marketing initiatives and campaigns. You will have the responsibility to develop and write content that engages across a range of industries depending on our ongoing clients in the social media/influencer marketing realm. That could range anywhere from developing scripts for broadcast, video, mobile, web projects like banner ads, websites, and email campaigns. Together, with our email marketing team, this role will identify trends of consumer engagement to better optimize content for marketing campaigns.

    Responsibilities:
    – Overall participation in the creation of the brand narrative on a client to client basis
    – Copywriting and editing for social campaigns in our clients’ unique and distinct voices
    – Creating and collaborating to develop concepts for campaigns, yet not restricted to social
    – Storytell and develop professional copy across the board including digital and social & communication
    – Collaborate with marketing, design, and all other teams to ensure consistent and effective messaging across all platforms or channels
    – Developing and collaborating alongside other creative and internal teams
    – Work alongside account and strategy teams to ensure brand-friendly and strategically sounding concepts and copy tones

    Requirements

    – Must have 3+ years of experience in writing social campaigns for a digital agency
    – Impeccable grammar and spelling
    – The ability to put on different editorial voices
    – Enthusiasm for social media and the workings behind it
    – Ability to recognize emerging trends and up-and-coming platforms
